Background

Carlos, who was born and raised in Timor-Leste, first joined the NGO as a student. After completing his program, which included an overseas program in Cambodia, he returned to Timor-Leste. Carlos is married to his wife, Mayumi, who also serves for the NGO, and together they have two children, Rizwah and Noah.

Experience

Following his return to Timor-Leste, Carlos has become a pillar of the organization. He has traveled all over Timor-Leste, setting up schools, supervising young leaders, and managing several centers. His dedication led him to become the country director for the organization in Timor-Leste.
