OUR TRANSFER OF SKILLS PROGRAMS
Discover Our Transfer of Skills Programs
Education at AHHA doesn’t end at graduation; it evolves. Our Transfer of Skills programs are designed for our boarding program graduates who choose to dedicate themselves to a life of service and leadership. These programs act as the ultimate bridge between being a student and becoming a social entrepreneur, providing the platform for our youth to lead, manage, and eventually take ownership of their own community initiatives.

Local Volunteer Program
The Gateway to Leadership
Upon graduation from our 24-month program, students have the choice to enter the Local Volunteer Program. This is the first building block toward becoming an experienced teacher, manager, and leader in the field of social service and community development.
What Students Do
Participants take on real-world responsibilities that keep our centers running. Beyond teaching, this program includes specialized tracks for Accounts Assistants, Administration Assistants, and Social Enterprise Managers, allowing them to practice the leadership skills taught in our NGO Service models.
International Exchange Program
A Global Perspective on Service
The International Exchange Program offers a unique opportunity for volunteers to gain international experience and a global perspective on education and development through our overseas operations.
What Volunteers Do
Volunteers are given a 1 to 2-year placement in Laos or Timor-Leste. After immersing themselves in a new culture and developing advanced organizational skills abroad, they return to Cambodia to transfer their gained knowledge to local youth for an additional 6 months.
Entrepreneurship Program
Empowering the Next Generation of Social Entrepreneurs
The final stage of our leadership journey is the Entrepreneurship Program, where high-level theory meets the ultimate practical test of running a center. Volunteers practice advanced strategic skills by managing a province center under the mentorship and supervision of the AHHA team.
The Goal: Independent Ownership
The objective is to master complex operations like coaching, strategy, and accounting to achieve full independence. Once a leader demonstrates complete competency, we begin the hand-over process, transferring the management and ownership of the center so they can run it as their own sustainable social enterprise.
